Products and Prices

  • Do I have to buy full cartons?
    No, only a few products are sold per full carton. Some products will show two prices,
    With every product you will see two lines. The first shows the quantity in which you can order the product, for example 1 bunch of dried flower or 1 bag of 50 shells. The second line shows a lower price for a full carton.
  • Can I buy loose branches of dried flowers?
    No, all our products and flowers are sold per bundle (mostly per 4 or 5 bundles).
  • Can I buy a single bunch of dried flowers/grasses?

    No, with each product it is indicated per how many bunches (or stems) they are sold. You will see this number on the first order line.

  • Why can't I buy the amount of bunches that I want?

    If it is not possible to order a certain number of bunches of a product, it may be that it is not (any longer) in stock.
    From 1 bulk pack you can only order whole bulk packs from us. Therefore, a number that deviates from a bulk pack quantity jumps back to a multiple of what is in a full carton.

  • Is everything delivered from stock?

    We aim to deliver everything directly from stock. Our stock is updated on a daily base, unfortunately it can occur that one of the products is out of stock. However, it can occasionally happen that an item is sold out. If that happens, you can choose to replace the product or we can credit the amount back into to your account.

  • Can I order a product that is not on your website?

    We regularly search for new products to expand our range. If you are searching for a product that is not in our webshop, we kindly ask you to send us an detailed email with a photo of the product. We would also like to hear the quantity you are looking for. We will contact you as soon as possible.

  • How long do dried flowers last?

    Dried flowers are a sustainable alternative to fresh flowers. You can enjoy our dried flowers for years and they are maintenance-free. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause the dried flowers to lose their colour sooner.

Transport and Returns

  • How much will it cost to ship a package?
    Please check our shipping fees here.
  • When will my order be shipped?
    Orders cannot be shipped by us until payment has been made online or credited to our bank account.
  • How long does it take till I receive my package at home?

    Shipping within The Netherlands takes about 1 or 2 days. We will ship your order as soon as your online payment has been made or when the amount is on our account (via banktransfer) Please check the delivery times to your country and shipping fees here

     

     

  • Is it possible to pick up products at Decofleur?
    Yes. You can choose "Pick up at Decofleur". When your order is ready we will send you a message. We strive to have your order ready the next working day. Our opening hours are Monday until Friday from 08.00 AM till 16.30 PM.
  • How can I return products?
    Products that are unused and unopened can be returned to us at your own expense at the address below:

    Upon receipt, we will credit you the costs for the products. If necessary, the given discount will be recalculated pro rata.
  • I am not satisfied with the products received. Can I return it?
    If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product, please contact us by email. We ask you to send us a photo of the products concerned. After receiving this information, we will contact you.

Pay and VAT

  • How can I pay?
    We offer you various options to pay online. Currently, we offer online payments that include Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, iDeal, Giropay, Sofortbanking, Maestro and Bancontact. You can also choose to receive a PDF confirmation with our bank details to do a manual prepayment.
    If you pick up your order, you can choose the pay online while checking out, or to pay at our warehouse.
     
  • What are your payment terms?
    All orders must be prepaid before they will be shipped. If you choose to pick up your order, you can also pay at our warehouse.
     
  • Is it save to pay online?
    All online payments (iDeal, Paypal and Creditcard) go through SSL-secured pages. SSL are certified secure webpages.
  • Why are your prices excluding VAT?
    We show our prices excluding VAT because we are a wholesale company selling to business customers only.
  • Can I place an order excluding VAT?
    Yes. Customers within the EU with a valid VAT-number can buy without paying VAT. The VAT won’t be charged automatically if you have registered with this number at our webshop. We will check the VAT-number. If you have registered with an invalid or obsolete VAT-number, we will charge the VAT additionally before shipping your order.
    Outside the EU, no VAT will be charged. Within Netherlands, the VAT will always be calculated. The percentage is 21% for most products.
     

General

  • Is there a minimum order amount?
    No, we do not have a minimum order amount. We do charge € 5,- administration fee for orders of € 20,- and less.
  • How can I place an order?
    You can order very easily at Decofleur.com:
    -1 please register yourself via the "login" option
    -2 choose you products and place them in your cart. You can do this before you create your account.
    -3 Proceed to checkout and follow the steps of choosing your shipping method, payment method and confirm your order.
  • Do you sell to wholesale companies?
    Yes, with our discount prices up to 35% for bulk packaging we do deliver products for competitive rates to wholesale companies.
  • Does Decofleur have a showroom or a shop?
    We do not have a shop or showroom. Orders over €250,- can only be collected by business customers on presentation of your Chamber of Commerce number. We ship orders under €250,- with GLS. You can only pay with a credit card or debit card (RABO and ABN reader). By appointment you can see products from our stock.
     
  • Does Decofleur import and produce itself?
    Yes. Decofleur has been a producer of dried flowers since the early 80's. We still dry and paint our flowers. We do import directly from Italy, France, Hungary, Israel, South-Africa, India, Thailand and Brasil.
  • What do you do with my address information?
    Your address and private information will be handled with care. We do not show or sell your information to third parties.

Moss

  • Howmany kilos moss do you need for 1 square meter?

    Cushion moss, Sheet moss and Reindeer moss is very suitable to use for moss walls. For each different type of moss a different amount applies:

    How many moss per square meter
    Reindeer moss:   8 à 9 kilos per m2
    Cushion moss:    5 crates per m2
    Sheet moss:        2 kilos per m2

  • Is the moss alive?

    The moss has dried completely and is therefore no longer alive. After the drying process, the moss is completely immersed in a special solution with (green) dye. This mixture ensures that the moss regains its flexibility, so it feels "fresh".

  • Do you need to maintain the moss?
    The treated moss is odorless and maintenance free.
  • What kind of glue do I need to use?
    You can use hobby or carpet glue as glue.
  • What kind of frame board do I need?
    You can glue the moss on any surface on which wood glue and carpet glue adhere.
